To better understand the collaborative role pharmacists play in the management of chronic pain and opioid stewardship in primary care in Ontario


To seek and disseminate scientific evidence about the current collaborative role pharmacists have in chronic pain management and opioid stewardship


To advocate to seek best collaborative work and engagement of pharmacists in chronic pain management and opioid stewardship


  • We have submitted a scientific paper for publication and have presented the current work at the:
    •  2022 Ontario Pharmacy Evidence Network (OPEN) Summit in March 2022
    • CPS: 42nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Canadian Pain Society in May 2022
    • CPhA – Annual conference of the Canadian Pharmacists Association in June 2022
    • AFHTO conference in October 2022
